An emerging Connecticut painter, Chris O’Herron makes use of a talented proficiency for the oil medium. Also within his grasp are the subtle nuances of drawing in charcoal, which Chris finds an ideal medium for expressive portraiture. The illustration program at Syracuse University, from which Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2001, let him experiment with different media and introduced him to the professional art world. The high point of his formal education was in 2000 when he studied and created art and architecture in Florence, Italy.
